A typical journey from inquiry to loan disbursement
Find your nearest branch office
Use the official Akhuwat Foundation website to locate the branch office nearest to your area. Branches are present in most cities, towns, and districts across Pakistan.
Attend a community information session
Many branches hold free orientation sessions for prospective applicants. This helps you understand loan types, eligibility, repayment terms, and what to expect before you apply.
Prepare your documents
Refer to the Documents page for the full checklist. Ensure your CNIC is valid, make photocopies, and write a clear description of your business or intended use of funds.
Submit your application at the branch
Visit the branch in person with your documents. Staff will guide you through filling out the application form. There is no online application — submission is done in person only.
Field verification visit
A field officer may visit your home or workplace to verify your details. This is a standard part of the process and typically takes 1–2 weeks.
Approval decision
After verification, the branch committee reviews your application. You will be notified of the decision. Not all applications are approved — outcomes depend on individual assessment.
Disbursement and repayment agreement
If approved, the loan is typically disbursed in a community ceremony. Your repayment schedule is agreed upon at this stage. Keep all receipts and records of payments.
